What if Gwen Stacey had lived? What if the X-Men stayed in Asgard? What if Wolverine was Lord of the Vampires? What if Spider-Man was a murderer? Anyway, this RPG is also a "what if" based in a universe with both Marvel and DC Characters. The "what if" question is this; "What if the Justice League had lost the war against Project Cadmus?" Here's the answer... The seven original members of the Justice League (Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Flash, Hawkgirl and the Batman) are all either dead or missing and presumed dead. The rest of the league have gone in to hiding in order to escape the wrath of Cadmus. As for Project Cadmus themselves, they have taken the war to other super-teams; like the X-Men, the Avengers, the Brotherhood, etc. The effects of this war has devastated the United States and has thrown one of the world's most powerful countries in to civil war. In the United Kingdom, Adam Sutler and his party of dictatorship followers have seized power and have turned it in to a facist state. Now the world is falling apart and there are few who will stand up to the oppresive governments. With the fallen heroes of the Justice League to inspire them, will the vigilantes of recent years return to avenge their defeat?
